Project Justice for July: Collaborative Initiative
The Anti-Discrimination Legal Forum (ADLF) is proud to be part of the “Project Justice for July” initiative, collaborating with Bangladesh Legal Aid and Services Trust (BLAST) and other esteemed organizations. This joint effort focuses on seeking justice and support for the victims of the July student protests in Bangladesh.
As part of this initiative, our forum members are actively involved in supporting the project:
– Advocate Abid Hossain Ansary Advocate and Abdul Kader Jilany have joined the project as Legal Officers, ensuring legal assistance and guidance.
– Mr. Toslim Bhuiyan Prantik has assumed the role of MIS Officer, facilitating data management and information systems.
– Ms. Moumita Trina is serving as the Documentation Officer, assisting in the documentation of vital evidence and statements.
The “Project Justice for July” initiative primarily aims to gather witness statements from severely injured victims of the July student protests, offering medical and legal referrals to the victims and their families. The project is focused on providing legal support and ensuring accountability for the harm caused during the protests.
